Thanks for posting this! So many of my students have iPads at home, and parents are always inquiring about educational apps. This is a great site I can refer them to instead of doing the research myself, and creating a laundry list of apps :)
Stephanie, this is a fantastic site for ipad apps. I know you have done some incredible lessons in your classroom with this technology. Not only that - but it is the perfect age for children to really learn the ins and outs of the web - essentially becoming a part of their daily process. It is disheartening however, that all school districts in CT dont follow your schools lead. In Manchester, Technology is limited and students, unfortunately, have limited time on the web. I keep wishing the government will make ipads mandatory for all students and subsidize the cost. Dont mean to sound harsh here, but it seems like a better use of the taxpayers money than bails out to other countries. Sometimes, I think America, at times, forgets their own (ex: people in Louisiana still waiting to have their homes rebuilt... really??? unforgivable)
